Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before using Lndry's services. By accessing our platform, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
Section 01
Acceptance of Terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "Customer", or "Partner") and Lndry Technologies Pvt. Ltd. ("Lndry", "we", "us", or "our"), governing your access to and use of the Lndry website, mobile application, and all associated services (collectively, the "Platform").
By creating an account, placing an order, or using any part of the Platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the Platform immediately.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Section 02
Platform & Services
Lndry is a technology platform that connects urban customers with local, verified garment-care businesses ("Partners"). Lndry acts as an intermediary marketplace and facilitates:
- Scheduling and managing garment care service bookings
- Real-time order tracking and status updates
- Secure payment processing
- Customer support and dispute resolution
- Quality assurance and Partner vetting
Important: The actual garment care services (washing, dry cleaning, ironing, etc.) are performed by our Partner businesses, not directly by Lndry. Lndry maintains quality standards and liability frameworks but does not operate its own laundry facilities.
Services are currently available in select Indian cities and are expanding. We do not guarantee service availability in all areas.
Section 03
User Eligibility & Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use Lndry's services.
- You must provide accurate, complete, and current account information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately at support@lndry.in if you suspect unauthorised account access.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or pose a risk to other users or Partners.
- One person may maintain only one personal account. Creating multiple accounts to abuse promotions or circumvent bans is prohibited.
Section 04
Bookings, Pricing & Payments
- Pricing: Service prices are displayed on the Platform at the time of booking. Prices may vary by location, service type, garment type, and demand. Lndry reserves the right to change prices with reasonable notice.
- Order Confirmation: A booking is confirmed only after you receive an official confirmation via the Platform or SMS/email. Lndry reserves the right to reject or cancel bookings at its discretion.
- Payment Methods: We accept UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking, and Lndry wallet credits, processed through secure third-party gateways. Cash on delivery may be available in select areas.
- Subscription Plans: Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Subscription fees are non-refundable for the current billing cycle.
- Promotional Offers: Discounts and offers are subject to specific terms and may be withdrawn at any time without notice. One promotional offer per user per order unless stated otherwise.
- GST: Applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) will be charged in addition to displayed prices as per Indian tax laws.
Section 05
Garment Care & Liability
Lndry takes garment care seriously. However, the following limitations apply:
- Pre-existing damage: Lndry is not liable for damage that existed before pickup. Our Partners will note pre-existing conditions at the time of collection.
- Care Label Compliance: You are responsible for ensuring garments are submitted with accurate care label instructions visible. Lndry Partners follow care labels as provided.
- Delicate & High-Value Items: For items valued over ₹5,000, please declare the value at the time of booking. Liability for high-value items is limited to the declared value or ₹5,000 whichever is lower, unless premium coverage is purchased.
- Maximum Liability: Lndry's aggregate liability for any damage claim is capped at 5× the service fee paid for the specific order in question, subject to verification.
- Claims Process: Damage claims must be raised within 24 hours of delivery with photographic evidence. Claims raised after this window may not be entertained.
- Prohibited Items: Lndry does not accept items contaminated with hazardous materials, biohazards, or substances that violate Indian law.
Section 06
Cancellations & Refunds
- Customer Cancellation (before pickup): Orders cancelled more than 2 hours before the scheduled pickup receive a full refund to the original payment method within 5–7 business days.
- Customer Cancellation (after pickup): Once garments have been picked up, cancellation is not possible. You may still raise a complaint if service quality is unsatisfactory.
- Lndry Cancellation: If Lndry or a Partner cancels your order, you will receive a full refund or credit, plus a courtesy discount on your next order.
- Quality Issues: If garments are returned in unsatisfactory condition, raise a complaint within 24 hours. Verified quality issues will result in a re-service at no charge, or a partial/full refund at Lndry's discretion.
- Subscription Refunds: Subscription fees are non-refundable. However, if you cancel a subscription within 48 hours of first purchase and no services have been used, a full refund may be granted.
Section 07
Partner Terms
If you register as a Partner Business on Lndry, additional terms apply:
- Eligibility: Partners must be legally operating businesses with valid GST registration (where applicable) and must comply with all applicable Indian laws.
- Quality Standards: Partners agree to meet Lndry's quality benchmarks, turnaround commitments, and customer service standards as outlined in the Partner Agreement.
- Commission Structure: Lndry charges a platform commission on orders fulfilled through the platform, as specified in the Partner Agreement. This may change with 30 days' notice.
- Account Suspension: Partners with consistent quality complaints, policy violations, or fraudulent activity will be suspended or permanently removed from the platform.
- Data Usage: Partner business data may be used for platform analytics, marketing, and operational purposes in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Section 08
Prohibited Conduct
The following activities are strictly prohibited on the Lndry platform:
- Providing false or misleading information during registration or order placement
- Attempting to reverse engineer, hack, or disrupt the Platform's technology
- Using the Platform for money laundering, fraud, or any illegal activity
- Harassing, abusing, or threatening Lndry staff, Partners, or other users
- Creating fake reviews, ratings, or manipulating the Platform's reputation system
- Circumventing the Platform by directly transacting with Partners outside Lndry
- Submitting garments containing illegal substances or hazardous materials
- Scraping, crawling, or systematically extracting Platform data without permission
Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate account termination and, where applicable, legal action.
Section 09
Intellectual Property
All content on the Lndry Platform — including the brand name, logo, website design, app interfaces, text, graphics, trademarks, and software — is the exclusive intellectual property of Lndry Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and is protected by Indian and international intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or commercially exploit any Platform content without prior written permission from Lndry.
User-generated content (reviews, ratings, feedback) submitted to the Platform grants Lndry a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use such content for Platform improvement and marketing purposes.
Section 10
Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The Lndry Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Lndry makes no warranties, express or implied, about the Platform's reliability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose.
- Lndry is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from Platform use.
- Lndry is not liable for Partner actions, delays, or quality issues beyond what is specified in Section 05 (Garment Care & Liability).
- Lndry's total aggregate liability to any user in any 12-month period shall not exceed ₹10,000 or the total amount paid by the user in that period, whichever is lower.
- Lndry is not liable for service interruptions due to force majeure events including natural disasters, government actions, strikes, or infrastructure failures.
Section 11
Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Dispute Resolution: In case of any dispute, the parties shall first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be referred to binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with a sole arbitrator appointed by mutual agreement. The seat of arbitration shall be Delhi, India.
For consumer disputes that cannot be resolved through arbitration, you may approach the appropriate Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
The courts of Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction for matters not subject to arbitration.
